These handmade glass lanterns are built in geometric diamond shapes where pieces of coloured glass have been joined with dark soldered seams. The series includes four pieces in dark blue, turquoise, green and patterned clear glass, each resting in its own arched black metal stand with a round base.
Inside each lantern sits a tealight in a small coloured holder. When the lights are lit, a warm glow spreads through the glass structure, creating atmospheric shifts of colour in the room.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
