This artwork is created in the traditional Tiffany technique and depicts a large purple flower with a yellow centre, set within a circular composition inside a white-painted wooden window frame. The lines of the motif are defined by dark solder lines that provide a clear graphic structure against the pieces of glass.
The colour palette is vibrant, with the flower's petals in shifting purple tones, a yellow centre, and yellow, red and green details in the corners against a clear blue background. The varying texture of the glass allows the panel to catch and transmit sunlight in a lively way.
The artwork is mounted in a white wooden window frame with the handle and fittings preserved, providing a genuine and cosy framing.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
