This glass wall lamp is shaped like a toucan in profile, created using the traditional copper technique where each glass piece is joined with pewter. The bird's body consists of a shimmering green glass that is illuminated from within, while the yellow breast and black eye detail provide a vibrant expression.
The characteristic beak dominates in clear shades of red and black, framing the motif against the wall. When the lamp is turned on, the tinted glass spreads a warm and atmospheric glow in the room.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
