The Apple is a three-dimensional glass sculpture and lamp assembled using the classic Tiffany technique. The faceted panes in mottled orange and red glass form a rounded shape, crowned by a twisted metal stem and a delicate green glass leaf.
The sculpture rests on a round base in light wood. When the light source inside is turned on, the variegated glass glows in warm tones while the dark solder lines form a clear graphic pattern.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
