This piece is created in the traditional Tiffany technique and depicts several blue flowers with yellow centres and green leaves, mounted directly into an older white-painted wooden window frame with glazing bars. The lines of the motif are defined by dark solder joints that provide a clear graphic structure against the coloured glass pieces.
The colour palette is dominated by flowers in varying blue tones and leaves in green, placed against a light and semi-transparent background. The varying texture and opacity of the glass allow the panel to catch and let through sunlight in a vibrant way when hung in a window.
The piece is surrounded by the original wooden window frame with preserved fittings, providing a genuine and cosy setting.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
