This work is created in traditional Tiffany technique and depicts a powerful ocean motif with high rolling waves. The composition is based on dynamic lines in white and dark blue glass, where foamy crests and a bright sun against a mottled sky frame the scene. The motif's lines are defined by dark solder joints that provide a clear graphic structure.
The colour palette is dominated by deep blue shades in the water, complemented by white and light grey glass pieces in the wave crests and the sun. The glass has a varied structure that catches and lets through light in a vibrant way depending on the light entering.
The artwork is mounted in a sturdy black wooden frame that frames the glass panel in a defined way.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
