This piece is created in the traditional Tiffany technique and depicts a sitting cat with a body in varying tones of red, green and purple, enclosed in a white frame. The lines of the motif are defined by dark solder joints that provide a clear graphic structure against the assembled glass pieces.
The colour palette encompasses rich red and green alongside blue, yellow and pink touches, set against a warm yellow and opalescent background. The varying texture of the glass allows the panel to catch and let through daylight in a vibrant way.
The piece is framed in a white wooden frame that provides a bright and stylish setting, fitting nicely on the wall or in a window.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
