This piece of glass art depicts a poppy flower and has been created using the Tiffany technique. The motif is built up from shaped glass pieces in intensely red and green shades.

The glass pieces are carefully copper-foiled and joined with dark solder seams that give clear contours to the flower's petals and stem. When light falls through the piece, the vibrant structure of the glass and the deep color variations emerge.

Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
