This piece of glass art depicts a magnolia flower and has been created using the Tiffany technique. The motif is built up from shaped glass pieces in soft shades of pink and white opalescent glass.
The glass pieces are carefully copper-foiled and joined with solder seams that give clear contours to the flower's petals and shape. When light falls through the piece, the vibrant structure of the glass and the delicate color variations emerge.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
