This glass panel has been created using the Tiffany technique and is set in a black frame. The motif portrays autumn maple leaves in shades of red and orange reaching towards a pale sky-blue and white marbled background.
The glass pieces are joined with dark solder joints that provide clear outlines for the leaves and the delicate branches in the composition. When light filters through the glass, the depth and variations of the colours emerge.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
