This handmade glass panel depicts a stylised woman in a hat in profile, created using the traditional Tiffany technique where hand-cut glass pieces have been fitted with copper foil and soldered together with tin. The hat, face and collar shimmer in light, white-marbled shades that give the work a soft and vibrant expression.
The background consists of a uniform, muted grey glass that highlights the sweeping lines of the foreground. The dark, clear tin contours create a distinct framing of the shape. The entire artwork is mounted in a black wooden frame that gives a stylish impression on the wall.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
