Glass panel entitled Beauty of the Forest I, created in the Tiffany technique and framed in a black wooden frame. The motif depicts a lush forest landscape where green fir trees and deciduous trees frame a winding blue stream in the foreground.
Rising above the forest is a large yellow sun with powerful rays spreading upwards into the sky. The work combines opalescent and transparent glass pieces in shades of green, blue, yellow and brown, joined together with dark solder joints that give the landscape distinct contours.
Glass lives with the light. Colours, texture and shape may appear slightly different in reality compared to photos, as a screen can never fully capture how glass refracts and lets light through. You are always welcome to view the artwork or item in the studio before purchasing.
